The Frontier Centre held a dinner with Christopher Hitchens last year and during the Q&A, I asked Hitch the only foreign policy question not related to Iraq:

"What's going to happen with China?" paraphrasing myself.

"Nothing good," paraphrasing the man. I agree. Unfortunately.

Oh Yeah...Why I Haven't Been Active Lately...

Cranky and pissy right now at many things politics. There's some good stuff worth chatting about, be them Crocus fallout, Gary Doer's likely lament that he didn't call an election last month, the federal numbers, the Quebec numbers, the Quebec election in general (pay attention to it...it could lead somewhere interesting), musings on Ryan Craig's departure from Winnipeg City Hall, musings on Chantal Hebert's new book, musings on the greatness that is NBC's two hour comedy block, musings on nothing in particular.

But like I said, bored and grouchy. Plus work's still heavy going and not slowing down. Luckily, they gave me a raise to compensate.

I'll eventually get back up to speed again. Just no idea how long it'll be until then. (And I must get rid of this template. Hate it!)
