Thank You Mr. Dion

I can only hope that your economics talk will force Prime Minister Game Theory into a more conservative fiscal position to avoid being out flanked.

"We will focus our tax cuts on the competitiveness of the country," Mr. Dion told reporters following a one-day Liberal Party conference focused on economic issues. "I will give the good incentives to create a good economic culture.

Hey! is it just me, or is this Dion dude not starting to come across like some sort of incomprehensible twit of an ace-hole control freak, and he's just hiding behind the cushions on the OPPOSITE side of the house. For just a short time longer, I'm guessing. Them back-stabbing knives are being unseathed as we speak.

AND it looks like there is division in the lib ranks of ridings in Canada. TO WIT, a couple specifically.

Which Etobicoke Riding Associations [in the Center and on the Lakeshore] participated recently in a abig Ukrainian whoop-up? Just a few minor anomalies, and we've got some photos to prove it.

Well represented from the political sphere, with just a kink or two in the unity armour. All pols were decked out in appropriate Ukie shirts and blouses, according to Gender. MP's and candidates alike, representing various parties were in attendance.

Borys W., Ukr/Canadian Lib MP from Etob. Center. Some of his staff and former staff.

Lib candidate Gerrard Kennedy, was there with his Ukrainian heritage. Plus a number of other Liberal Candidates, male and female, along with Rev. Sheri DiNov, I think it was.

Gloria Lidsay Luby. Donna Cansfield. Lauren Broten.

John Tory.

Tom Barlow Conservative candidate in Etobicoke Lakeshore. Andrew Pringle. Sylvia Watson.Raiya Shadurksa. Oleksander Dannylenko, Ukraine's General Consul to Toronto.

Along with a full gaggle of male and female Canadians of Ukrainian background running Provincially or Federally, in various riding, for various parties.

The major exception as far as I could see? While it could have been a case of "he was just here, but got called away." Or "he was over ther and I just didn't see him."

Frightfully conspicuous in his absence?

That'd be Lib MP for Etobicoke Lakeshore -Mike Ignatieff. Mikey - universally dispised by just about every Ukrainian descendant walking Canadian Soil.

Makes me wonder about the connectivity and unity of the Gritsters.

lovin' this, I AM!!
