I'm Being Foolish, Right?

Why is it I can't help but compare the timing of the CBC's Tainted Tuna story tonight [Link] with one from over twenty-one years ago? [Link]

CBC's not trying to repeat history with another first-term government, right?
*
Right?

Maybe not Hack.....look into the backround of this guy who did the testing and you will find some interesting things. There are some connections. Harper should dismantle the CBC as soon as he gets that majority.

I agree. It's a conspiracy. The Conservatives need to get rid of the CBC right away because of the Tuna factor. They'll never get a majority if this keeps up. Voters will be saying "Well, I wanted to vote Conservative but I just couldn't get that tuna issue off of my mind....". YOU'RE NUTS BUDDY

Thank you ( tears rolling down my face) I have always wanted to be told I am truly crazy.

Anyway, the reality is the CBC are all Liberals, and they know Harper would love to get his hands on the CBC. My taxdollars fund this crap, at the CBC. It's not about the tuna.

I guess Mulroney himself is to be considered as a conspiracy theorist then. Peter C. Newman quotes him as saying:
"No one was even sick. . . . The media gave more publicity to tuna than to the Gulf War."
